Plain-English note: This policy explains how Somporko™, Somporko AI™, and Somporko Diary™ collect, use, share, protect, retain, and allow you to control information across our websites, early-access forms, voice and messaging workflows, diary features, and related services. Product-specific notices may provide additional details for a particular feature or customer workflow.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Somporko™ is a relationship-first technology platform for communication, service, reflection, and human connection. Somporko AI™ is our configurable SaaS platform for building, deploying, and managing AI voice assistants for businesses, commercial and residential trades, service operations, and professional offices. Somporko Diary™ is our private AI voice journal product and is currently available through a beta program.

In this Privacy Policy, “Somporko,” “Somporko AI,” “Somporko Diary,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Somporko and the related websites, products, services, tools, communications, voice workflows, diary workflows, and future features we provide or develop.

2. Information we collect

Website and early-access information

We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, requested service, beta interest, inquiry details, feedback, and messages submitted through our website, a demo, or a support interaction.

Somporko AI business and caller information

If you interact with an AI receptionist powered by Somporko AI, we or the business using the system may process phone number, caller name, call transcript, call recording if enabled, appointment details, callback requests, service-related messages, scheduling information, customer intent, and operational logs. The exact information depends on the business using the service and the purpose of the call.

Technical and usage information

We may collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, error logs, security events, feature usage, and basic analytics.

3. Somporko Diary information

Account and access information

For Somporko Diary™, we may process your name, email address, verified mobile number, login records, verification status, session information, and protected authentication data used for passwordless login and phone PIN access. We do not store your PIN in plain text.

Reflections, transcripts, and diary entries

We may process the voice reflections you provide, transcripts created from those reflections, generated diary entries, titles, dates, corrections, edits, themes, mood labels, tags, questions submitted through Ask Somporko, search requests, Memory Lane results, Continue Reflection context, Insights, and other content you choose to create or store.

Audio processing

Voice audio may be temporarily processed by Somporko and service providers to create a transcript and diary entry. Somporko Diary™ is designed not to retain raw audio by default after processing, unless a feature or beta test clearly tells you otherwise and provides an appropriate choice.

Backups and exports

If you choose to connect an optional backup service such as Google Drive, we may process the information needed to create, update, or restore that backup. Information stored in your connected account is also governed by the provider’s terms and privacy practices. Exported files are under your control after delivery.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • respond to inquiries and manage early-access requests;
  • provide, operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Somporko products;
  • answer calls, collect requested details, schedule appointments, route calls, and send requested follow-ups;
  • transcribe voice reflections, create diary entries, support editing and search, and provide Memory Lane, Continue Reflection, Ask Somporko, and Insights;
  • authenticate users, detect abuse, protect accounts, and maintain operational records;
  • communicate about accounts, service activity, support, product changes, and beta participation;
  • comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms.

5. AI processing and product improvement

Somporko products use automated systems and service providers to understand requests, create responses, generate summaries or diary entries, retrieve relevant information, and complete requested workflows. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete, so users should review important information and diary entries.

We may use aggregated or de-identified usage information to understand product performance and improve reliability. We do not use private Somporko Diary entries, transcripts, or Ask Somporko content to train general-purpose models for unrelated customers unless you affirmatively agree through a separate, clear choice.

If future Somporko services involve voluntary human-in-the-loop feedback, expert review, ratings, annotations, or training-support workflows, the applicable feature will provide additional notice about the content involved and how it will be used.

6. Business customer and caller data

When a business builds, configures, or uses an assistant through Somporko AI to communicate with its callers or customers, the business decides the purpose and configuration of its workflow. The business is responsible for its notices, permissions, call recording practices, scripts, connected systems, and legal compliance. Somporko processes information to operate the platform and provide the requested service to that business.

Implementation partners

A business may choose to configure Somporko AI directly, work with Somporko, or work with an implementation partner. If a customer authorizes an implementation partner to access its account, workflows, integrations, or operational information, the customer controls that access and the partner may process information under its own agreement with the customer. We may provide platform tools that support customer-authorized partner access.

7. SMS and mobile information

If you provide a mobile number and request or agree to receive SMS messages during a call or interaction, we may use the number to send appointment confirmations, reminders, demo follow-up, inquiry follow-up, account verification, service updates, and related transactional communications.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of applicable SMS messages at any time by replying STOP and may reply HELP for help.

Mobile phone numbers, mobile opt-in information, and SMS consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or trade mobile opt-in information or SMS consent.

8. How we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate hosting, email, telephony, SMS, transcription, AI processing, scheduling, authentication, storage, backups, analytics, support, and security. These providers may process information only for contracted services and under their own legal obligations.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate fraud or abuse, to enforce agreements, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense. If a law treats a future analytics or advertising activity as a sale or sharing, we will provide the required notice and choices.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

Our websites may use cookies, local storage, logs, or privacy-conscious analytics to operate the site, remember preferences, understand performance, and detect abuse. You can control many of these technologies through browser settings.

10. Retention, deletion, and account closure

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain security, respond to inquiries, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Somporko Diary™ is designed to let you delete individual entries and transcripts, export your diary, and request deletion of your account and application-held memories. Some limited records may remain for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, billing, dispute resolution, or backup-cycle purposes. Deleting content from Somporko does not automatically delete copies you exported or stored in a connected third-party backup.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information we process. These may include access controls, protected authentication data, encryption in transit, encryption at rest where technically supported, monitoring, and data minimization. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Sensitive information, healthcare, and personal reflection

Diary reflections and service calls may contain sensitive personal information. Only provide information that you are comfortable processing through the service and that you are authorized to share.

Somporko Diary is a journaling and personal reflection product. It is not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or crisis care. Somporko AI is not a medical provider. Healthcare businesses are responsible for determining whether their use requires HIPAA-related agreements, safeguards, notices, or other compliance measures.

13. Your controls and privacy choices

Depending on the product and your location, you may be able to:

  • access, correct, or delete personal information;
  • view, edit, search, export, or delete diary entries and transcripts;
  • connect or disconnect optional backup services;
  • change your verified phone number or phone PIN;
  • sign out active sessions or delete your account;
  • opt out of SMS by replying STOP and opt out of non-essential email.

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide additional rights, such as rights to know, access, correct, delete, or limit certain uses of personal information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

14. Children and eligibility

Our general website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. The current Somporko Diary beta is intended only for adults age 18 and older.

15. International users

The current Somporko Diary beta is initially intended for users in the United States. If you access our services from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where service providers operate.

16. Third-party links and services

Our websites and products may link to or integrate with third-party services. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their processing, and we are not responsible for their independent practices.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as products, practices, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
